Sheri MurrellPT, Clinic Director
Sheri Murrell, PT, is the Northwest Clinic Manager.
Sheri earned her degree in physical therapy in 1996 from UT Southwestern Medical Center after working as a physical therapist assistant.
She has completed numerous manual courses, including muscle energy, nerve mobilization, and myofascial release. She has taken joint specific courses and continuing education for treatment of amputees, but enjoys working with a variety of patients and diagnoses.
Sheri has a wonderful husband and family. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with them, playing with her grandsons, and traveling and going on cruises.
Ben CheeverPT, DPT
Ben earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018 from the University of the Incarnate Word. Prior to earning his Doctorate, he received his bachelor’s degree in General Studies with an emphasis in History and Religion from Southwestern Adventist University.
Ben takes a special interest in orthopaedic, sports, and manual physical therapy and will be pursuing additional education within these fields soon.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, playing both video and board games, watching movies and TV shows, hiking, and mountain biking.
Alejandra RodriguezPT, DPT
Alejandra earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018 from University of Texas at El Paso. Prior to earning her Doctorate, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Lubbock Christian University.
Alejandra takes special interest in manual therapy and sports related injuries.
When she’s not in the clinic, Alejandra can be found watching or playing sports, listening to live music, playing guitar, or spending time with friends and family.
Autrey DukePT, DPT
Autrey earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, with a minor in Spanish, from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
He has completed training in dry needling and is currently seeking certification in manual therapy. He takes special interest in restoring proper movement patters for patients suffering from orthopaedic issues, especially overhead athletics due to his background in baseball.
Autrey has a wonderful wife and three rambunctious young boys, aged 9, 6, and 2. When he’s not in the clinic, he enjoys participating in and helping coach his sons in many sports. He also plays a little softball when he get a chance. He played baseball in high school and for one year at Southern Virginia University and is trying to steer his boys towards baseball. He is very active in his local church and completed a 2-year mission in Santiago, Chile, where he learned to speak Spanish. He enjoys attempting to build furniture and fun repairs around the house.
Lauren earned her Physical Therapist Assistant Degree in 2013 from Kaplan College. Prior to earning her PTA License , she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from University of Texas at Arlington.
Lauren has completed 200 hr Registered Yoga Teacher Certification through an accredited Yoga Alliance school and is currently enrolled in continuing education courses with special interest in women’s health, prenatal wellness and postpartum recovery. Lauren is excited and looking forward to adding the CSCS certification.
In her spare time Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two children as well as traveling, taking yoga classes and participating in outdoor activities
Kristen earned her PTA degree at Tarrant County College in 2016, she also received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Sociology from Cal State University, Northridge CA. Kristen has also completed IASTM1 cert for Instrument assisted and KT taping
She is currently enrolled to complete PTA: specialty certification in Orthopaedics
When Kirsten is not in the clinic she spends time with her 2 young kids and husband. She enjoys yoga, pilates, and kick boxing. Kristen also loves to travel to the beach and the mountains.
Mark HerreraPT, DPT
Mark earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from The University of St. Augustine. Prior to earning his DPT, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Government and Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin.
Mark has continued his education within manual therapy and is in the process of obtaining his Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) certification. He takes special interest in manual and sports therapy.
In Mark’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his husband, working out, exploring Fort Worth, and watching Texas Longhorns sports. Hook ‘em!
