Scott ElmorePT, DPT
Scott Elmore earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014 from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. Prior to earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, he received his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology Exercise Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Scott has completed Functional Dry Needling, Foot/Ankle assessments, pain management courses, and is currently enrolled in as a Clinical Instructor to help other incoming clinicians grow in the PT outpatient setting. He takes special interest in outpatient orthopedics/sports medicine with high emphasis on athletic population, post-op recovery, modification for shoe inserts, utilizing dry needling for functional improvements with ADLs, and overall striving to better the patient in returning to their long term goals. The most important thing to Scott is making sure that the patient is getting what they need and feels at the end of treatment that we did the best we could in getting them to their overall goals.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and working out in the gym, hiking, cycling, running, and playing recreational sports. He is interested in nutrition and overall health, and enjoys experimenting with cooking. He grew up in Sugar Land, TX, and became interested in physical therapy after an elbow injury while pitching early in his college career. Scott’s favorite sport is baseball, and his lifelong dream is to travel to every major league baseball stadium in America.
